What to expect: The future of my Blog

Many of you know my heart belongs to blogging. Whether writing reviews, reflections or hopes, this blog is my one and only love (right now). Grammar, spelling and even a few life mistakes, all tied up with an imperfect bow, essentially sums up my little blog. Something I can truly say, makes me proud every minute of the day.

With all the love, creativeness and dreams filling onlythejade- it brings me to my next step. Simply put- What’s next for me and my little blog. What does the future hold?

Sometimes you need to look back.

As I sit at my desk looking over the growth on all my social media channels, I can’t help but think how lucky I’ve been. Picking faults come incredibly naturally to me- many accomplishments just don’t seem to resonate.

Yet, as I sip my Luke warm coffee and think about the astounding support I’ve had over the  8 months I have been pushing myself- it slightly take my breathe away.

Empowerment.

 I dream of confidence running through every word I think, speak and say. Life may throw things in your way but, the feeling of empowerment can lead you through the darkest days.

I pride myself on trying to be there for others. My close friends will never know the length I would go for them- I hope they never will have to. Whether they disagree, or not may be a different matter.

Support in the blogosphere is unlike any other. One moment you can feel like your wonder woman and the next you can feel like your fighting a never ending battle. I have been fortunate enough to find that support out ways all the negative impacts of the blogging community. For every one troll their five supporters waiting to put the world to right.

Future.

I love my blog, but expanding my platforms fills me with dread. It may just be anxiety, but the thought of launching my YouTube channel or even looking into the launch of a self-hosted website truly scares me.

Saying that. I am still going to do it. Simply, because I don’t think I can. Sometimes you have to prove yourself wrong.

When I look at my very uncertain future, it fills me with a slight feeling of impending doom. Blogging for me is my passion, something I will never give up, making impending doom more of an ‘impending gloom’.
