Add a little colour.

In my wardrobes of dreams, every item would be black. Yes, I am really that morbid. Colour isn't something I'm naturally drawn to, but its something I aspire to have in my wardrobe. Accessories, shirts and jewellery is a perfect way to add a little bit off colour to an all black wardrobe.

Bags and Accessories.

I love bags. I find that they finish an outfit perfectly. The British high-street is filled to the rafters with bold bags. Clutch, body chained or even a bum bag (unfortunately they are still a thing), bold colours are everywhere, and I think they just might be here to stay.

River Island are my go to store, for high street bags. The quality, price and last is amazing. This red cross body bag is most definitely coming on holiday with me. Adding a scarf can, also, provide a unique twist to most outfit.

There is surprisingly quite a lot of room for all the things needed to survive any stress the airport could throw at you. If your anything like myself, airports can be stressful having something as simple as hand cream can really help give you a little boost.

Shirts.

Something as simple as a red shirt, can really transform an all black outfit. It sounds obvious, but many don't tend to reach out to bold colours. This ASOS red shirt is perfect paired with black ripped jeans and Chelsea boots.

A perfect pop of colour!

Jewellery.

A simple pop of gold, will  make you feel a million dollars. New Look is a great place to start for affordable jewellery. New look's ring sets are prefect, for adding some detail to a colour blocked outfit. Colour blocking is great (especially with black) yet, sometimes it does need a little bit of something to give you a slight confidence boost.

This ring set is amazing, pearl and silver are a classic way to add something extra.

How do you add colourful details to outfits? Or are you more bold beautiful? Let me know in the comments.

  3. We are quite opposite in this respect because I'm a huge lover of all things colourful and I very rarely wear all black! I love everything you've picked out though, especially the jewellery! I have to agree that New Look is a fab place for affordable pieces!

  8. I like to stick with black as well ha! I like to use scarves, bags and my lipsticks to try and inject a little bit of colour. I'm not normally drawn to red clothes but I am loving that red shirt.
