June and July Favourites!
Hello again,
If you hadn’t realized I didn’t have a monthly favorites post last
month, simply because I didn’t really have anything that you hadn’t seen before.
Being such a creature of habit, means that I often struggle to find new
products to talk about. So, I decided July would be the time I would introduce
a few new things into my life.
Cosmetics
and Beauty.
Rimmel 25 hr. Foundation, £7.99
Now, I have to stop myself from rambling on
about this foundation. But I do love this. The coverage is amazing,
imperfections are barely seen. Formula such as this is rarely seen with
such a high coverage, it’s so comfortable on the skin. Smelling of Aloe Vera is
a significant bonus, too. I apply with a damp Real Techniques sponge, and the
finish is perfect.
The only downside to this foundation is
that it’s a little dark for me at the moment, so blending it down my neck is a
must. Yet, the benefits out way the negatives, 100 to 1, with this high street
foundation.
Sheet masks , in fact all masks for that
matter, are becoming a regular occurrence in my life. I find that most really
give the added moisture I need to my skin. And Soap an glory's 'Bright and Beautiful' Sheet mask
is truly no exception. Applying the mask for 20 minutes,
really does help give skin a healthy, hydrated glow. For £3.50, I really don’t
think you could ask for more.
Simple Skincare- Micellar Water and Toner.
After suffering with breakouts, I have
reached for an old favorite. Simple as a brand has grown with me, through my teens to my hormonal break outs
right now. The products may vary, but the brand is always the same. In all honesty, Simple may be my favorite
high street brand.
Micellar Water, £5.27.
I know, I know, I am obsessed with micellar
water. And simple’s is probably the best I have tried. Its so light on my skin-
it genuinely feels like nothing. Removing any make up and excess oil, like its
nothing I really don’t have too much else to say other than its simply, amazing.
Toner, £3.49.
Simple’s toner is just as incredible as
their Micellar water. The light weight formula, eradicates any extra bits that
the Micellar water may have left behind. This additional little extra, really does seem to benefit my
skin, it definitely needed to be in my favourites.
IBX Nail treatment!
I don’t want to get into this treatment too
much as I plan on blogging about my whole experience. Yet so far, this is
honestly the best thing I could have ever done for my nails. As a chronic nail
biter, I have always had poor nails/ Torn, split and exceptionally fragile,
I constantly struggled to grow or even
maintain my nails.
I’ve recently started having gel on my
nails (I can't find the brand), in my first session, it
was suggested that I had the IBX treatment to strengthen my nails and help with
de-lamination. After only having two treatments thus far, I can honestly say I
doubt my nails have ever been this strong and well kept. If you would like further information on this
treatment and the process as a whole, then please keep an eye on twitter.
Galaxy extra frothy hot chocolate, £2.69.
I’ve been trying to watch what I eat a
little more. With doing this I have had to try and find a few lower calorie
treats. And Galaxy’s Extra Frothy Hot chocolate is most definitely one of them.
I could go into how amazing it is, but
seriously- who doesn’t want a super frothy hot chocolate after a day dodging the
rain ?
I know this favourites is set out a little
differently than many of my previous favourites. Much of my content (I hope )
has diversified and developed a little
further. I am by no means the best, I don’t often proof read and I get overly
excited about blog posts, but for me at least my content is slowly becoming the
standard of work I want to produce. Flaws and all.
Lots of Love.

I've been looking for a cruelty-free sheet mask myself so I might have to try that Soap & Glory mask. I am a hot chocolate addict so it's the one treat I just can't be without!
