Blogger Help: Goals we forget about...

I’ve been reflecting lately about my blog, if I’m entirely honest I didn’t think that it would be this difficult. I love blogging but balancing working full time with posting three times a week is really difficult. Sometimes I can’t help but wonder, is it worth it? Saying that, the blogging community is brilliant when you need support and there are so many guys and girls that will help you when you need it (yes, this includes myself).  Even though, I have moments of doubt, I still continue to blog. I hope this little blog, will make you understand how far you’ve come? I know realizing these three goals had been achieved when  I least expected them too, helped me continue when I needed it the most.

1.       Comments.

It sounds so cheesy, but you really can make a bloggers day purely by saying you enjoyed their post. Writing posts can be a long daunting process and it can really drain you. Sometimes, a little well done can really help bring some light into some ones day.

2.       Views every day.

Form 1 view to 2200, getting at least one view every day is a big deal. Being possibly the easiest goal to complete but the hardest to maintain. Constant promotion, through twitter, Instagram and other social media plat forms can be so difficult. Interacting will fellow blogger's has been made easier by twitter chats. Many of which open the door to other bloggers; it’s a great way to not feel alone too.

3.       Self-worth.

Blogging has helped grow my self-worth, I am so much more confident in not only my content but in myself outside of blogging. Sometimes it takes something that you’re so passionate about to help motivate you to continue to live the life you’ve always wanted. I know I'm not there yet, but its definitely something I am working towards.

Recently I am so happy, to be moving forward and continuing to grow on my blog and twitter(I promise to sort my Instagram as soon as possible) . Thank you, for taking the time to read this blog and I can wait to see what the future holds.

  6. I smile every time I get a comment! It really does help to keep me going. And blog views can be so difficult. I track my views weekly and I can always see a difference when I have forgot to schedule posts for a day or two

  9. I love this! Such an easy read too. I agree that just spending 30 seconds out of your day to leave a nice comment on somebody's post can really make their day especially when it usually takes people so much time and effort to put together the content that they have created! xxxx

  10. Aww what a wonderful post. Leaving and receiving comments makes a world of a difference I think, to the blogging experience! It takes a lot to find time to write up posts, take photographs, and have the courage to hit publish, as well as try to get your blog 'out there', so when you know people are enjoying your content, it's a massive motivator to continue!

  11. I think until you are a blogger you don't realise the importance of comments, so many of my close friends read my blog but wouldn't think to actually comment themselves, but they make so much difference! I definitely agree that blogging helps with confidence too, I would never of dared to turn up to an event alone in the past, but I'm so happy blogging has helped push me out of my comfort zone!

The fact that you've been to an event I the first place is amazing- let alone on your own. I'm so scared ill go and people won't like me!

  15. I really like this post. I think it's so important to acknowledge even the smallest achievements. Everyone has to start somewhere and at the end of the day you've put a lot of effort into your blog so you should pat yourself on the back when you get a comment or like. Keep up the good work.
