Product Review: Bourjois Bronzing Powder.
There has been a lot of ‘hype’ around the
Bourjois Bronzing Powder, so I was so excited to compare it to Hula (Benefit,
£20)- my usual go to product. This affordable, option (only £7.99), really
intrigued me. So without any further ramblings, here is my product review.
Colouring
This bronzer is
perfect for everyone, Bourjois, have given people the option of varying
different colours. I know many high end brands have created options for
different skin tones, although, to my knowledge, Bourjois was one of the first
to offer such a thing on the high street.
Being the colour
01(obviously, I am really pale), I found that this product didn’t make me look
muddy or orange. Yet, you do only need a very light hand with it, due to the
extreme colour pay off. Overall, I can’t
say enough about the colour of this product I honest haven’t tried anything
else on the high street that competes with it.
Blend
I find some bronzers incredibly
hard to blend. Due to intensely compacted product, some bronzers can look quite
‘chalky’- leaving a strong residue on the skin and leaving product difficult to
blend. The Bourjois Bronzing Powder, on the other hand, really does blend
effortlessly. With minimal movement and
a soft hand the product blends on top of creams and powders. It’s safe to say I
am a massive fan!
Last
The only issue I have
is that the product does tend to cling to dry skin. As the day goes on, the
product does obviously fade, yet, it clings to dry skin- a slightly annoying
trait that can be forgiven.
Smell
As you’d expect with
the name, it smells of chocolate. I’ve been using this product for over a month
now and the smell in the packaging hasn’t faded. Once applied to the skin the
smell does fade, making sure you don’t have a chocolate induced headache.
Will I be repurchasing?
I think it’s a
definite YES. The product is amazing for pale skin tones, its cost effective
and I honestly don’t know why I haven’t tried it sooner.
Hope you enjoyed this
little review, let me know below, if there are any other products you would
like me to review.
All the love,
Em

I like that there are different shades of this bronzer! I hate it when brands assume that one shade fits all! Bronzer for pale skin is so difficult to find!

I love this bronzer too! I've had it for a long while now and I still can't get enough of the chocolate smell! xx
ReplyDeleteI always hear so many great things about this bronzer! The smell has always put me off trying it however, even though I know everybody says you can't actually smell it once on your skin, but I'm just not a 'chocolate' scent fan ha
